Mom and Pop place. Very friendly waitress. He ordered a bacon cheeseburger with home fries - VERY GOOD! I had the pork tenderloin with mashed potatoes, fried appels, and corn bread (that looked like a pancake). It was yummy! Cozy dining environment.

Had breakfast here on a Sunday morning in October enroute from Lexington to the Red River Gorge Area. Friendly staff and very popular place. Every single spot was taken. There were always around 40 customers at the restaurant but only 2 waitresses. I had the 3-egg Western omelet and it was pretty good - took around 20-30 minutes to be served. After seeing the portion, I did want to order something on the side, but it would have just extended my stay even more, and I wanted to get on with the hiking.

This is a little hole in the wall restaurant in Stanton. The food is delicious and the service is excellent. If you like home cooked meals, I recommend you try this place! The hot fudge Brownie is my favorite dessert they have. One brownie is enough for 2 people to share. A must try is their deep-fried cauliflower bites with ranch. They are very good.

Bruens is awesome! Great country cooking! Always run into locals that I know! Still same good cooking! Fortunately, it wasn't packed like it always is, tonight! But outstanding food & service!!! Wasn't crowded tonight! Got overcharged, but mistakes happen. Great food, as always!

An amazing diner where dinner feels like home cooking. The portions were huge. The prices were low. May want a driver because I was ready for a nap before my plate was clean. Don't miss it in the banana pudding!! We literally went back another day just to get another bite of this sweet southern delight!
